Video-Integrationszentrum

About V‑IZ

Teaching German since 2007.
Now on video for your team.

V‑IZ stands for Video-Integrationszentrum. The teaching behind it comes from our SH Sprachschule Heilbronn, an AZAV-certified education provider that has been getting learners through their German certificates since 2007. Everything the classroom has taught us now sits in a recorded course your employees can watch whenever the shift plan allows.

Marlene Fries, teacher of German as a foreign language at V-IZ

Your teacher

One teacher, from A1 to B2.

Marlene Fries is a native speaker, holds a degree in German as a foreign language and is approved to teach integration courses. She stays with your employees from A1 right through to B2: one familiar face, not an anonymous algorithm.

On video she explains things the way she does in class: calmly, with clear examples and with patience for the exact points where adults learning German tend to get stuck. That classroom experience is in every recording.

Same course, new format

From the classroom to the screen.

A course at fixed times rarely survives contact with working life. Shift rotas change, projects overrun, teams sit at three different sites. After years of teaching working adults we knew that problem inside out. So we put our entire classroom course on video, with nothing of substance left out.

Same teacher, same hours

The teacher who stands in our classrooms recorded every video herself: roughly 150 hours of teaching per level.

The same coursebook

We teach from Hueber "Schritte plus Neu", the standard coursebook used in many integration courses.

An optional AI trainer

Employees who want extra practice can add an AI trainer for pronunciation, vocabulary and writing, with feedback on the spot.

What remains is a proper course with everything a proper course needs. All that has gone is the fixed room and the fixed timetable.

A school you can actually call.

Based in Heilbronn

A registered language school with a fixed address in Germany and people who pick up the phone.
