How it works
Your employees learn German from A1 to B2 for a fraction of what classroom teaching costs. This page walks you through the whole journey: from quote to codes to certificate.
Our German teacher Marlene recorded her lessons chapter by chapter, on camera. So V‑IZ is not a slimmed-down learning app, and not a patchwork of explainer clips. It is the same course we have taught in Heilbronn for years.
V‑IZ teaches general German from A1 to B2, not industry jargon. Once the foundations are solid, your employees will pick up the vocabulary of your trade on the job.

The first two steps are yours. Your employees handle the rest.

You receive activation cards or digital codes and simply pass them on. There are no user lists to keep and nothing to administer.
Each employee redeems a code in the app or the browser and works through the course at their own pace. Access runs for a full 12 months from the day the code is redeemed.
When they are ready, each employee registers with a telc or Goethe exam centre, sits the exam in person and comes away with a recognised certificate.
About 200 lessons of 45 minutes per level, roughly 150 hours of teaching, from A1 to B2.
Employees practise pronunciation and vocabulary, have their writing corrected or rehearse for the exam, with instant feedback every time. It comes with every package, using it is optional, and there is no cap on how much.
Choose with each order: the printed book with an activation card, or a digital code.
Every level works towards the recognised telc and Goethe exams.

The printed Hueber coursebook arrives by post. Our recommendation for teams based in Germany.
The codes arrive by email. A good fit for employees still abroad and for teams spread across several sites.
Part printed, part digital. Useful when you run several sites or shift patterns.
Visa and relocation paperwork often drags on for months. Your future employees can put that waiting time to work and begin the course from anywhere in the world, long before they arrive.
German is also a common requirement for residence permits, permanent settlement and naturalisation. V‑IZ prepares learners for exactly the exams those applications call for.
